What are Unicode fonts?
The "fonts" here are not font files but separate characters defined in Unicode. For example, a normal A (U+0041) and the mathematical bold 𝐀 (U+1D400) are different character codes. That is why the shape is preserved without installing a font. But because they are still characters, they may show as boxes if your device has no font that can draw them.
| Font | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Bold | 𝐅𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝟏𝟐 | Mathematical bold, for emphasis |
| Italic | 𝐹𝑜𝑛𝑡 12 | Slanted; digits not supported |
| Script | 𝓕𝓸𝓷𝓽 12 | Fancy handwriting feel |
| Fraktur | 𝔉𝔬𝔫𝔱 12 | Classic blackletter style |
| Double-struck | 𝔽𝕠𝕟𝕥 𝟙𝟚 | Blackboard, math-symbol look |
| Monospace | 𝙵𝚘𝚗𝚝 𝟷𝟸 | Fixed-width code feel |
| Circled | Ⓕⓞⓝⓣ ①② | Letters inside circles |
| Full-width | Font 12 | Wide spacing emphasis |
The examples are for reference; check the actual results in the tool above. To decorate with symbols, also use the special characters library or kaomoji.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Does it convert all languages into cool fonts?
Unicode fonts (mathematical alphanumeric symbols, etc.) only define matching characters for the Latin alphabet and digits, so non-Latin scripts such as Korean are left unchanged. For other scripts, combine special characters or brackets instead.
My converted text shows as boxes in some places.
The result is not a separate font but Unicode characters themselves. If the app or device where you paste does not support those characters, they appear as boxes (□). Most modern social apps and browsers display them correctly.
Can I use converted text in a nickname or Instagram bio?
Yes. Because they are Unicode characters, you can paste them into social profiles, nicknames, Instagram bios and anywhere text input is allowed. Some services may restrict special Unicode input or fail to recognize it as plain text in search.
Does this conversion send my text to a server?
No. All conversion is done with JavaScript inside your browser, and the text you type is never sent to or stored on a server.
